We are a local, family owned and operated, full service Elevator Company specializing in installations, both commercial and residential, maintenance and service on existing equipment, as well as modernization and repairs We pride ourselves on being a quality run business that truly exemplifies professionalism, craftsmanship, customer service and satisfaction. We are looking for someone who holds true to these qualities This opportunity, working as a part of the service department for a small business, will provide many elements for the right individual to utilize their strengths and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and coordinate all building service providers including all facilities related needs and seek out competitive quotes as needed.
- Responsible for all truck and trailer fleet maintenance including but not limited to:
- Schedule/Track all inspections/oil changes/brakes-performed by Third Party
- License and OMV stickers
- Vehicle condition
- Accident recording, report filing and claims management.
- Truck fleet inventory, auditing and replenishment as needed.
- Procurement of new vehicles and equipment.
- Outfitting of shelving, equipment and lettering for all new vehicles.
- Asset tracking for all materials and equipment.
- Tool maintenance inventory, inspection and tracking for daily job activities.
- Uniform inventory/maintenance.
- Manage Technician incoming/outgoing shelves for paperwork and parts processing
- Responsible to liaise and manage daily schedule for warehouse staff.
- Facilitate organization of inventory and maintenance of warehouse for day to day operations.
- Manage shipping and receiving.
- Coordinate shop deliveries.
- Review processes and procedures making assessments as needed and recommend changes.
- Other related tasks as the company deems necessary and/or assigns.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- Forklift certification, company will provide training
- OSHA10 certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
- Clean Driver's License.
- Knowledge of the geographical areas Long Island and the Five Boroughs of NYC and the ability to manage and organize routing and schedules for dispatching of drivers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Perform all duties in a timely manner as required.
